That's a discipline of its own, and almost nobody teaches it. A Bright Business Accelerator is a fixed-length cohort that puts founders in control of their own business operating system, so the decisions stop being guesses.
The skill we teach
A founder's real job is deciding.
A founder doesn't need to become an accountant, a marketer, or an HR manager. They need to know enough to recognize good work — and then choose the right people, hand off the right things, and decide what happens next. That's the job. It's a separate skill from any of the functions underneath it, and it's the one almost nobody is trained in.
Most business programs teach the functions. Others sell motivation for a weekend. We do neither. We build the one capability that determines whether everything else works: control of your own business operating system, and the judgment to run it.
Not functional training. Not a pep talk.
We don't teach bookkeeping, payroll, or contract law — and we don't do motivational speaking. Inspiration wears off by Monday, and functional training solves a problem you should be delegating anyway.
A decision-making discipline.
Commitment, the right people around you, a system you actually control, and accountability that outlasts the session. Four things — each one a decision, each one trainable.

Club or Accelerator
One system, two ways in.
Both run on the same Bright Business Operating System and curriculum. The difference is the commitment and the clock.
The Business Club
A monthly membership with no end date. You join a standing room of business owners and experts and keep showing up, meeting after meeting, for as long as it serves you.
The Accelerator
A fixed-length program with a start date and an end date. You work the same curriculum in a defined cohort, then graduate — often into a Business Club.

Every Accelerator runs one of two ways, depending on who's sponsoring it — two completely different markets, same operating system underneath.
Community & Government Accelerators
Run in partnership with cities, chambers, and economic development departments to support businesses inside their own community. A city or agency sponsors the cohort to encourage local residents to start new businesses and to help existing businesses survive and scale — typically offered as a free program to participants.

Private Accelerators
Run for a closed group of businesses, or for a single company's team — the same curriculum, delivered privately rather than through a city partnership. Choose the pace.
Every Accelerator — community or private — runs as one of two formats.
A compressed cohort that moves fast — the full curriculum delivered in weekly sessions over one quarter.
A slower-paced cohort that mirrors the rhythm of a Business Club — the same curriculum, one session a month, over twelve months.

Every session is a facilitated roundtable, not a stand-and-deliver class. A guide keeps the group on the week's topic; the insight comes from the business owners in the room working their own problems out loud.

Most business owners run their company alone. The cohort puts them in a room with peers on the same journey, on a fixed schedule, so isolation stops being the default.

Every cohort taps the same vetted network of business-to-business experts available to full Business Club members — not a generic vendor list.

What makes it different
We train the decision maker, not the department.
Most business support programs teach functions — marketing, HR, payroll, contracts. Founders and owners should understand those things, but that isn't the skill their role actually demands. Their job is to make the right decision at the right time, and to orchestrate a team of specialists who handle the rest.
